Happy Birthday To Me

It's official, folks...I'm on the downhill slide to 40. Turning 35 last year meant I couldn't check the "25-34" age range box on surveys and polls anymore. The significance of turning 36 today means that I'm on the fast track to 40 and beyond. Yikes! I steadfastly remain about 10 years old on the inside, however.

    Happy Birthday. And may it be a most celebrated one. As for counting years, such a pursuit leads only to tears. Hardly something worthwhile on such a happy day. Instead, celebrate the moment remembering the people you've met and come to know, the experiences gained, friendships shared, and knowing that these extraordindary elements of your journey will continue until you tell them to stop. Now go have a party and celebrate the anniversary of the day that the light of Lisa C made our whole world a brighter place.
